1. Where It Started
Dream Catch began in 2018 in a small storefront in St. Marys, Pennsylvania. What started as a modest seafood market quickly grew into something much bigger.
Zak and Janice opened the space with two ideas side by side: a fresh seafood market and Dream Float, a wellness concept offering salt float therapy. From the beginning, it was a true family effort, with their children working alongside them as the business began to take shape.
2. Following the Passion
As Dream Catch grew, Zak and Janice moved into a larger space and chose to focus fully on what had quickly become their true passion: seafood.
Their commitment took them across the country, traveling to coastal regions to learn more about sourcing, quality, and the best ways to bring fresh seafood to a community far from the coast.
With strong community support, Dream Catch continued to evolve. The seafood market expanded into a full eatery while also developing a growing food distribution program serving grocery stores, schools, businesses, and organizations throughout the region.
3. Growing With the Community
Giving back has remained part of the journey from the beginning. Through efforts such as the annual Thanksgiving meal giveaway, Dream Catch has continued to support the community that supported them.
Over time, Dream Catch grew beyond its storefront roots and developed into a regional food distribution network serving schools, senior programs, businesses, and organizations throughout the area.
4. The Next Chapter
When the historic St. Marys Country Club became available, Zak and Janice saw an opportunity to take everything they had learned and create something entirely new.
After renovating and reimagining the property, Dream View opened its doors.
Today, Dream View is home to a full restaurant, bar, and event venue where guests gather for dinner, weddings, business functions, private celebrations, and everything in between.
What began as a small storefront has grown into far more than anyone could have imagined. Yet the heart of it remains unchanged: great food, hard work, genuine hospitality, and a deep appreciation for the community that continues to be part of the journey.
And the story of Dream Catch and Dream View is still being written.
